WealthHat

The Firm

Our philosophy

WealthHat was built on a specific observation: that Nigeria's wealthiest families, those who have built significant businesses, accumulated substantial assets, and navigated decades of macroeconomic complexity — are almost universally underserved when it comes to independent, institutional-quality private wealth advisory. The global private banks do not understand Nigeria from the inside. The Nigerian firms do not provide the depth of planning that complex, multi-generational, multi-jurisdictional wealth requires. WealthHat exists to close that gap.

We are a fiduciary firm. We hold no product mandates and manage no proprietary investment funds. Our only obligation is to the families we serve. We advise on investment strategy and portfolio construction, estate planning and succession, offshore structuring and cross-border wealth, insurance, and the full breadth of decisions that shape a family's financial position across generations.

We combine institutional private wealth advisory with specific, earned knowledge of Nigerian markets, Nigerian family wealth dynamics, and the practical realities of holding, growing, and transferring wealth across multiple jurisdictions. This is knowledge that cannot be replicated from outside Nigeria, and it is what makes WealthHat the right firm for Nigerian families at home and across the diaspora.

Leadership

He brings over a decade of experience in private wealth management and investment advisory, previously as part of the wealth management practice at FBNQuest. He holds executive education from the Yale School of Management in private wealth management. WealthHat was founded on his specific conviction that Nigerian HNW and UHNW families deserve the same depth of independent, institutional-quality private wealth advisory available to comparable families in London, Geneva, or New York — structured specifically for the realities of Nigerian markets, Nigerian law, and Nigerian family wealth.
